Picture the scene: February 2024 - a couple of old friends meet up in London to go and see The Go Team! for the 7th time. They head to The Hawley Arms in Camden and start drinking and chatting, as normal. Eventually, the conversation turns to the idea of doing a podcast about games and cocktails. It is agreed that this is a good idea and an agreement is made to "come on as a guest". 

Two days later, this is the message that get's sent, effectively creating the Cocktail Mode podcast: "Right - I've been writing notes for my podcast idea this morning and have decided it's going to be shit if it's me just talking - so you're going to do it with me."
